1. Where are the Portrait Sessions held and how long are they?

I am happy to come to your home, location of your choice, or welcome you to my brand new studio located at 265 Baltimore Road. You can expect the session to be between one and two hours.

2. What is the best age to do newborn photos?

To get the best newborn shots, I recommend your baby be between a few days to one month old. At this young age, babies are still pretty flexible and don’t care if we put him/her into some really interesting positions. Give me a call when you are expecting and I can book a tentative date.

3. What should we wear?

Solid colours and comfortable outfits are the best choice for clothing. Avoid busy patterns, logos or words. If you plan to use a dark backdrop, wear light colors. For a light backdrop, dark clothes work best. For baby and children’s sessions you can bring a couple of outfits along and we can decide together. Newborns are best photographed ‘au natural’ or in a cloth diaper. The studio is very warm during infant sessions so there is no need to worry about them getting chilly. You may wish to bring along any hats, blankets, knit sweaters or toys that have sentimental value. Toddler’s look great in overalls!

4. What kind of investment is required?

My standard sitting fee of $100.00 includes the one to two-hour portrait session, image post production and a password protected online gallery. You will be available to view your images within a week of your session. The gallery will be available for one month from the date it is established. Go to ‘packages’ for print and digital collection pricing. Check out my blog or facebook page for seasonal specials.

5. Can you give me details on Event bookings?

Please give me a call to discuss the particulars of your special event. Pricing changes according to the size of the event and number of hours you would like documented. For larger events I work with an assistant/second camera. Event packages include a private online gallery and a Digital Collection of all the edited high resolution images. This way you own the best quality files and you can choose to print them or assemble albums wherever and whenever you choose.
